Returns Policy

 

J & K Marine Supply offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. Eligible non-defective products may be returned for refund minus shipping paid (if any). To be eligible for a non-defective return, your merchandise must be unused, unopened and must be in the original packaging. Non-defective returns that show signs of installation or use, missing parts and or packaging, missing purchase receipt, sku code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs of eligible returns. Please consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items of value. J & K Marine Supply is not liable for lost or damaged return packages. J & K Marine Supply will pay for return shipping if the return is a result of our error. Freight Truck, Non-stock, custom and sale items are not returnable. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable. We do not accept returns on products that are labeled as hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases. Gift cards cannot be returned. The aforementioned items are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.  

Customers may obtain an RMA number by contacting us via our contact page.  Be sure to provide the original invoice number, product being returned, and the reason for return. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. A RMA number will be issued with instructions for returning the package within 1-3 business days via return email.

Defective Products:

The customer must first contact the manufacturer for technical support to confirm the product is defective and that product replacement is deemed necessary. Please provide the name of the technician, serial number, and details about the defect, to include the manufacturers comments and verification. Replacement of the defective product may be made through the warranty between you and the manufacturer. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. 

Cancellations, Shipping Damage, Missing Packages, Shipment Refusals:

 Orders made through our online store are processed immediately and cannot be cancelled. You will need to wait until you receive the merchandise in order to return it.  Claims of shipment damage must be reported to the shipper and must include the shipper’s response and tracking number of the delivery to the customer.  Incorrect/missing items, or non-receipt of goods must be made within seven (7) days. The customer is responsible for all costs associated with refused shipments including carrier fees, freight to the customer, and return freight.  J & K Marine Supply reserves the right to refuse returns that are sent COD, without a return authorization, show signs of undisclosed installation/use, has missing parts/packaging, missing purchase receipt SKU code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records. If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.


You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and products cannot be shipped to internationally

All orders received before 4 PM EST will be processed the same day. Most in-stock orders ship the same day. However, some orders will ship next business day especially if placed late in the afternoon. Out-of-stock status is displayed on the product webpage. Please send us an email to receive a time estimate for out-of-stock orders to return to stock. Items are typically shipped UPS, USPS, or FedEx for domestic orders. 

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
